Music has a long history at St. Matthew’s Church.  Mr. Skinner himself installed the E. M. Skinner organ in 1926.  It is a phenomenal instrument with 3060 pipes.  Throughout the year there are various recitals on the organ.

Kay Sutton is the organist and choir director at St. Matthew’s.  Both adult and children’s choirs sing regularly at the services.  The adult choir sings every Sunday at the 10:30 a.m.  service (September thru  May)  and at special services.  Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings after the 10:30 service.  The children’s choir also rehearses on Sunday mornings. New choir members are always welcome.  Persons who are interested in the choir may contact Father Braun or Kay Sutton after the services.
